5 Sites with Free HD Photos Online

Have you ever had a hard time looking for the perfect photo to go together with your blog? Or let's say you want to have an high-definition (HD) photo for your heard but you do not have one. I did experience those kind of dilemmas and to answer them, I opted to use some photos available online. I didn't know where to find the best then; I just used to search in Google and credit the owners. Fortunately, I've found out where to gather the best HD photos online. That's partly because of my job right now where I am task to look for the best photos that we can use for our site

I've tried looking for sites where I can get free hd photos and here are my top 5 picks. I love the images from these platforms which I will explain further why below. The best thing about these sites is that the photos that they are sharing are all under Creative Commons which means you can do whatever you want with them as long as it's not for a degrading or unusual purposes.

1. Unsplash
Unsplash is a project by the crew. This platform offers a wide variety of photos which are divided into different collections.

WHAT I LIKE MOST about Unsplash is that they always have something new to offer. They constantly upload new photos every day or every week. I'm not entirely sure when they usually upload new photos but they are all bomb AF. lolz
2. Pexels
Pexels is another platform where you can find high quality and free hd photos. This is founded by Bruno Joseph, Ingo Joseph and Daniel Frese. Bruno and Ingo co-founded Pexels together in 2014 and Daniel joined them last year.

Some photos in Unsplash can also be found in Pexels. Now WHAT DO I LIKE MOST about them? You can browse photos by colors which you can do at the upper right side of the platform. Imagine browsing photos based on their filter? that's basically what Pexels offer. I also love the fact that they are incorporating a short list of their top photographers. I bet that a very wonderful thing for their photographers,
3. Stocksnap.io
Stocksnap is another free hd source online made by the fine folks at Snappa. WHAT I LIKE MOST about StockSnap is that they have this trending category which allows every one to see the best photos that the website has ever curated.
4. Pixabay
Another platform that has been one of my trusted sources for hd photos is Pixabay. I love Pixabay for so many reasons but WHAT I LIKE MOST about them is that they do not only provide free hd photos; they also provide free vectors and illustrations.
5. Gratisography
This last website is owned and run by the very talented American photographer Ryan Mcguire. All of the photos in Gratisography were all personally taken by Ryan and they are all so good.

WHAT I LIKE MOST about Gratisography is Ryan's creations itself. The site provides free photos which are all good, yet very fun to look at especially the whimsical ones.

I hope this post is useful if you are looking for high definition photos online. Feel free to check the sites above and navigate through each of them. Personally, my favorite is Unsplash, but I do use the other sites as well.

If you are using free hd photos guys, where do you usually get them? Let me know on the comment section below. I would really appreciate your answers hehe

love lots,
Tin

  5. Unsplash has got to be my favorite. They've come a long way too. From posting only 10 new photos a month, they've grown their collection so much. They even have tags now for easier searching. :)

  9. WOOW Thanks for sharing, dear! I was looking for this kind of sites because I'm always creating graphic content, so images are essential for me :D

I used to have a Shutterstock account but it was a little bit expensive, so I canceled but with these options I think I can survive! Gonna save this post on my bookmarks so I can remember the websites ;)

Thanks for the useful information and hope you're having a great week!
