Matching prints or any patterns is one experimental approach in fashion. I adore those people (insert Laureen Uy here lol)who can simply rock by matching different kinds of patterns without looking awkward/weird. It's always a matter of confidence!
I've been musing a lot in purchasing new clothes with a monochromatic touch. I feel like going back to the basics without ignoring my favorite pattern, aztec! - a pattern that looks good in any color combination. It's safe to say that it looks good in everybody too (like florals).
With this pair of DIY aztec print shorts I made, it's been so much easier for me to chose any top with the same color palette. What I love most about this shorts of mine is that it gave me the freedom of versatility. That means I can combine it with different top!
To go to the safer side of styling, I paired my shorts with this plain black button down sleeves. Sometimes plain colors can be boring so I made the top more ravishing by putting on some white pearls in its collar. I love how it display my top with such an elegant side. chos!
My outfit is going monochrome so I opted for this minimal pearl bracelet and ring. Still in black and white- a color combination loved by fashionistas all over the world.
Sophistication is my peg for this one so wearing a stocking and this classic pair of black pumps completed my look. This outfit is intended only for a late night shoot with my friends or else I'd look ultra awkward going somewhere with this one. haha! Might as well decide on another theme with the same shorts. But next time, I'll be more experimental and casual ;)
