Happy holidays everyone! I hope that you are safe and sound as you read this blog. Let me take this as an opportunity to greet you. I always see the holiday season as the perfect moment to give thanks and appreciate the year which is about to end. As another year is about to unfold, I must say that it's also an apt time to look into the future with a hopeful and grateful heart.

The month of December is also my birth month. All hail Sagittarians! I can only think of a word to describe what I have felt being in existence for 26 years - grateful. For everything - for the pain, the happiness, and the lessons. I have so much to learn and love yet, so much about love and life to discover. 💖💞 Yes, I am singing and celebrating myself. I am blissful for my family and friends who made this month extra special, not only because of the pragmatic things that I have received and enjoyed but also because of love - above everything else.

I wanted to share some joy with you - my readers to thank you for your support. This blog has been almost like a constant friend to me. Even though I don't share many personal experiences this year, I see this as a sacred space where I can truly be myself. Besides, it has been quite some time since I have hosted a giveaway. hehe

The items for the giveaway winner are all from Shoppee. If you aren't familiar with Shoppee, it's basically just like any other online shopping platform. I find it convenient to shop using the platform for some reason. (1) It's fast and easy to use, you just have to download its app, click on the items that you like and pay for your item/s which you can do via cash on delivery, (2) I find it safer than other shopping platforms, (3) it's easier to compare similar products with the same specs and prices. It's free shipping and timely sale are a big bonus.

Let's start off with my favorites:

I love this Instagrammable cup and saucer set which I got for only 8USD. It also comes with a spoon. I know that this is more of an aesthetic purpose, but it makes me feel so much better to enjoy a cup of coffee using a lovely cup.

I have scribed about my love for journaling and recently, I just added washi tapes to my art obsessions. I found so many cute washi tapes in Shoppee, particularly the ones with vintage appeal and some which bear the paintings of Van Gogh. Yes, I admire the works of Van Gogh which is why I have painted my own version of his infamous Sunflower painting on the December page of my journal.

I also purchased a wooden hand decor because I just can't resist how artistic it looks on my desk and on my flat lay photos!

I also got a set of gel pens in different colors which only cost me a dollar! Such a score right?

New watercolor brushes for my hobby. You can tell that I have used the other one already. I used it last night to paint a bookmark for a dear friend.

Some favorites from Maybelline except for the Lash Extension mascara which I just tried this week after watching Sofia Lionel's Youtube video brought by Vogue.

Milan Kundera's novel which I am trying my best to finish asap. This is probably my best purchase from the platform since I couldn't find the book in bookstores within our city.

Last is this white bag just because I'm more drawn to white accessories. I actually bought two variations of this bag. One in white and one in pink. I gave away the other one (pink) as a Christmas gift.

There are other favorites that I couldn't fit in this blog as I have used them or gave them away already for the holidays. How about you, do you prefer shopping online or shopping personally?

Before we know it, we'll soon have to pack our bags, not for a travel getaway, but to another chance to learn something new. Right. Most of us have to head to school. Oh, I'm not here to make you sad, in fact, there's nothing to be sad about saying goodbye to summer. Here's another item that I got the South Shore. It's a cute leather notebook which is in blue (my favorite color) and it has this nautical vibe in it. I chose the mini one over the bigger one since it would be cool to have as a journal where you can write down your random thoughts. It can also easily slip in anybody's purse which is a good thing.

Not Your Usual Festival

Many Cebuanos would flock at mainstream beaches like the ones in Boracay during the Labor Day. For that reason, WKND Production composed of Christian Buhisan and Brian Gabasa decided to hold an affordable and one-of-kind weekend festival that every Cebuanos will enjoy.

During the press party held last night at the Craft Cafebar, Gabasa said that WKND participants will not only enjoy the pristine beach of Mactan Newtown, but they will also good music and good vibes. He added that WKND also aims to promote Cebu's local talent and products. A generous lineup of Cebuano bands and vjs are bound to perform including FDJ top 100 #27 in the Worlds and one of Manila's Finest - Kattyq Moscow and Ashley Rivera.

Budding entrepreneurs from Cebu's lifestyle Pop District Bazaar will also grace the event as they showcase their products.

Playground for Sports Enthusiasts

WKND will hold sports competitions which will satisfy sports enthusiasts and thrill-seekers alike.

Beach volleyball, beach soccer, paddleboard racing and a national jetski racing tournament are just some of the sports activities that await WKND participants.

The jetski competition is open to four different categories the standup category for men and women

and the sit down men and women. WKND organizer Christian Buhisan said that they are expecting ten players for each category. Local homegrown jetski rider all over the Philippines are welcome to join the competition. A clinic on how to ride in a jetski as a sport will also take place with jetski champions.

The beach volleyball competition will have 18 players and is sponsored by Thirsty. All sports event will have a cash prize depending on the number of participants.

Safety Party
To ensure the safety of WKND paticipants, the event organizers asked for the help of lifeguards and the Philippines National Red Cross. Guards and a jetski ambulance are also on standby during the entire three-day festival.

WKND can only accommodate 2,000 people per day, so hurry and grab tickets for you and your squad! Tickets are available for 500php (Day 1 pass), 500php (Day 2 pass), 800php for a 3-day pass and 2,000php for the VIP ticket which is inclusive of an entrance to a private yacht party.

Hello everyone! As Christmas is fast approaching, I've prepared a humble giveaway. Sadly, this is open to Philippine residents only. A purse, again, from Artwork . Told you, I'm a fan of their creations. ahhaha At first I thought of giving away a bottom to pair with the tee but then an idea flicked into my mind. Christmas season is the time where we (supposedly) have lots of coins and dingdong with us so why not give something that can help you carry them? A purse is perfect! It's nothing like an ordinary purse because it was beautifully printed.

Perfume from Bench . Some reunions happen during Christmas. Of course, it wouldn't pass without a hug, a kiss or a beso2x with your friends. For that, it always pay for anyone to smell good so I'm giving away this sweet smelling perfume from Bench.

Skin care products from IWhite Korea . I'm giving away packs of different skin care products from them. I only took a photo of the two packs but there are actually more of them. Just to lazy to get them upstairs while I was shooting lol. I've read countless reviews about these products and I've been using them too. I love how effectively these products are, even if they come in a very affordable price.

a Rafflecopter giveaway

A month ago, ate Rica of Akirah's Touch held a giveaway contest in her blog. Awesome prizes awaits to three lucky winners. Luckily I'm one of them! hehe
This is actually my second time of winning ate Rica's giveaway contest. Last year on ate Rica's blog at wordpress I won fabulous prizes which consist of a pretty top,a chic skirt and pretty accessories. I'll feature the top in one of my outfit post soon. I gave my skirt to my elder sister since she's so into skirts. Of course, I kept the accessories for myself because they're so damn pretty.
Btw, it's not really that I'm trying to annoy you or showing off what I got. And it's not really my responsibility to show my stffs to you, I just wanna share my happiness :))

These are all from the giveaway. As you can see, there are lots of them plus they're all cool!

First is a body gift set from Alice's Garden. Honestly speaking, they smell so nice!I can't get enough of them!

I also got this glittery eyeshadow pallette from Beauty Treats. It's so nice! I can't wait to try them on.

This one's a perfume from Hanna's Secret. It doesn't only have a lovely packaging but also a lovely fragrance.

Actually before the contest ends Ate Rica decided to add additional prizes. It includes these colorful skull bracelet and earrings. I love it! It's really my type of accessories. This just proves how fashionable Ate Rica is!

This one's a nail polish set with a free toe separator! How cool is that? The best thing about it is, it's cracked! I never really had a cracked nail polish so this one's a real blessing!

Another prize I got are these lip make-up. The first one is a lipstick from the PopShop while the other one is a cheek and lip tint. Both are equally awesome! The tint is very pretty, it gives off a red tint stating its name, Rosy. The lipstick by the way is somewhat nudelike in color. It got a lovely name Princess Buttercup. I have a feeling it will be very useful for future photoshoots.hehe

Now the best thing I got from Ate Rica is this wondrous and inspiring note. It's more than all the prizes one can have.

I actually feel down and depressed from the last week of our class. I was so worried and anxious about my scores in finals and my grades for my final requirements. The moment I receive these gifts, all the worries I have suddenly goes away. Reminds of something that not all things can go wrong.

I will end this post by sharing a quote that inspired me to smile amidst those busy and hellish week. Here it is:
