Shoppee Haul + Giveaway (Closed)
Happy holidays, everyone! I hope you are safe and well as you read this blog. Let me take this opportunity to greet you. I have always seen the holiday season as the perfect time to give thanks and appreciate the year that is about to end. As another year unfolds, I believe it is also the perfect opportunity to look toward the future with a hopeful and grateful heart.
December is also my birth month. All hail, Sagittarians! If I could choose one word to describe how I feel after being alive for 26 years, it would be grateful. Grateful for everything, for the pain, the happiness, and the lessons. I still have so much to learn, so much to love, and so much more to discover about life and love. 💖💞 Yes, I am celebrating myself. I am especially thankful for my family and friends who made this month extra special, not only because of the gifts and experiences I have enjoyed but, more importantly, because of the love they have shown me.
I wanted to share some joy with you, my readers, as a way of thanking you for your support. This blog has been like a constant friend to me. Even though I haven't shared many personal experiences this year, I still see this as a sacred space where I can truly be myself. Besides, it has been quite some time since I last hosted a giveaway. Hehe.
The items for the giveaway winner are all from Shopee. If you're not familiar with Shopee, it's an online shopping platform that allows users to browse and purchase products conveniently. I enjoy using the platform because:
It's fast and easy to use. Simply download the app, choose the items you want, and pay using your preferred method, including cash on delivery.
I find it safer and more reliable than some other online shopping platforms.
It makes it easy to compare similar products based on their specifications and prices.
Free shipping promotions and regular sales are also great bonuses.
Please note that I am simply sharing some of my favorite items purchased from Shopee because I think the platform may be helpful for those who, like me, are often too busy to shop in physical stores.
This blog is not affiliated with Shopee in any way. I purchased all of the items with my own money, including those that I will be giving away to the winner. If you're interested in the items or would like to join the giveaway, keep scrolling! 😊
Let's start off with my favorites:
I love this Instagrammable cup and saucer set which I got for only 8USD. It also comes with a spoon. I know that this is more of an aesthetic purpose, but it makes me feel so much better to enjoy a cup of coffee using a lovely cup.
I have written before about my love for journaling, and recently, I've added washi tapes to my list of creative obsessions. I found so many cute washi tapes on Shopee, especially those with a vintage aesthetic and designs featuring the works of Vincent van Gogh. As an admirer of Van Gogh's art, I even painted my own version of his famous Sunflowers on the December page of my journal.
I also purchased a wooden hand decor piece because I simply couldn't resist how artistic it looks on my desk and in my flat-lay photos!
I also got a set of gel pens in different colors, which only cost me a dollar! Such a score, right?
New watercolor brushes for my hobby. You can tell that I have used the other one already. I used it last night to paint a bookmark for a dear friend.
Some favorites from Maybelline, except for the Lash Extension mascara, which I just tried this week after watching Sofia Lionel's YouTube video brought by Vogue.
Milan Kundera's novel, which I am trying my best to finish asap. This is probably my best purchase from the platform since I couldn't find the book in bookstores within our city.
Last but not least is this white bag. I chose it simply because I'm naturally drawn to white accessories. I actually bought two versions of this bag, one in white and one in pink. I gave the pink one away as a Christmas gift.
There are other favorites that I couldn't include in this blog because I've either already used them or given them away during the holidays. How about you? Do you prefer shopping online or shopping in physical stores?
Anyway, here are the items you can win in this giveaway:
(Note that the giveaway is open to Philippine residents ONLY.)
I wanted to choose items that are both practical and inspiring. I also wanted to include something that would spark creativity, so I made sure to add items where you can sketch, write, or jot down your ideas. That's why the giveaway includes a sketchbook and a notebook.
Since cute and beautiful things bring joy, I've also included two mini matte lipsticks from Maybelline, along with a minimalist face-shaped earring that I absolutely love. I have a pair of my own, and I'd like to share a similar one with my lucky reader.
Last but not least, I've included a small piece of my beloved city, Cebu. It's a simple turtle keychain that I truly adore.
