Dresses Fit for the Holiday
Regardless of the event, choosing the best dress could be daunting. It is one of the most taxing things any lady could ever experience but also one of the best, and for me, it is a fun time especially when fittings are done with closest friends. One of the things that I like a lot about dresses is that you can wear them again granting that it fits with the second occasion. I don't know about you, but take it from me, I do that all the time especially when the event calls for a specific dress code! I don't like repeating an outfit for major events though, unless if we're talking about the classic LBD.
As we all know, the 12th month in the calendar brings forth an avalanche of festivities. For most, it would mean parties here and there, and it shouldn't be a surprise if one of those is a formal event that calls for a glorious gown. The good news is that there are decent yet affordable ones that we can always order this holiday season! With that, I've rounded up three of my favorite picks from the web.
Not into lengthy gowns? Try looking for cocktail dresses that suit your fashion sense, and would be best for the event you are going for. I like this mid-length dress. Not only because it's in red color, but it looks simple yet oh-so-stunning. This reminds me of Audrey Hepburn!
I like matching my dress with the theme of the occasion where I'm heading. Consider the holiday spirit, these days, I love sporting red, gold, yellow, and green. I also fell in love with clothes which are smaragdine so this A-Line dress from is so into my recommended list. The cinched waist of an A-Line is always a good bonus as it does good for any body type, yes, including plus size.
Any dress with the right cut and draping despite being made from a simple fabric gives enough drama to steal the show on any holiday party. Back then I wouldn't put any blue-colored dresses on my holiday colors of choices, but ever since I fell in love with the feels of winter, I have considered the color as something that fits Christmas. Besides that, it's also my favorite color so spare me, I would still wear any clothing in blue on any occasion be it a sweater or a gown. As I wrote a while ago, it's best to choose a dress which is versatile for any festivities, so when my dear students had their prom last November, I told them to pick from available prom dresses that they could wear again.
Now, how many days do we have left for Christmas? Have you chosen your holiday outfit already? Let me know what you think of when choosing a dress for the holiday in the comments section below. Also, let me know some of your activities during the holiday break. I might copy some of them ;)
