Christmas Clothes for Newborn Babies

    We haven't passed the first day of January yet, so technically speaking, the holiday season ain't over yet. I've been out in some of my social media accounts lately, primarily because I lost my phone, and also because Christmas happened and with it comes holiday shopping. It really feels good to be able to buy gifts for your loved ones not just during the Yuletide season. This year though, holiday shopping for me just got a little bit more challenging as I have to find the cutest baby clothes my hands could ever reach. Nope, I didn't give birth to my baby yet, but my sister did. Basically, I became a first-time aunt to a cute baby boy. 

     Special as he is, I want to give him something special for his first Christmas with our family. I couldn't think of any better gift than a brand new set of clothes. I know he's going to receive an avalanche of similar gift, but hey, if it comes from your aunt, it has to be extra special right? :) I can't show you here what I got for my nephew since my sister wants to open the gift on New Year's Eve. However, I'll be sharing you here some of the perfect Christmas baby clothes that caught my attention online. Most of these are from the online brand Popreal which offers a plethora of fine baby clothes in various sizes. 

      Along the way, I'll also share some of the things I've learned from my sister as a first-time mom particularly in choosing clothes for newborn babies. Oh, my sister had a baby boy but I will also share with you some newborn baby girl clothes that I got to adore. I'm a godmother to a beautiful baby girl by the way and I still have to get something for her.

      The first set of newborn clothes that caught my attention is this two-piece set which has "My First Christmas" in it and a Santa Claus face. Can this get any cuter? This is beyond perfect for newborns who are celebrating their first Christmas with their families just like my nephew. Charming as the clothes look, I've learned from my sister that it is important to choose clothes which have a comfy fabric, cotton, being the best choice. Newborn babies have to sleep a lot, and yeah, they do have that weird sleeping patterns so it's best to consider comfort in choosing whatever type of clothing for them.

   If you are a non-believer of Santa Claus, which I am not (after watching Netflix's Christmas Chronicles) then a newborn baby boy clothes sets with Christmas-y patterns or prints will do great as well. Imagine your baby wearing this really cute set with a reindeer pattern? Too cute beyond words. Oh, pardon me for using the word cute far too many times. There are just no words more perfect than that to describe babies and baby clothes. Again, consider the fabric of the clothes which your babies will be sporting. Babies clothes are not to be chosen because of trends and style, comfort comes first, so if you are somewhere enjoying a white Christmas or in our case, just enjoying a holiday abundant of rain, something that is made of fleece will do more than just fine for your baby.

    This third set of baby clothes are slightly bigger for newborns but that's really cool. Babies grow real quick and the next thing you knew, your newborn is already trying his/her best to crawl. That's a reminder my mother told me when I'm about to go out shopping for my nephew's clothes. When purchasing a baby's clothes, it's best to choose clothes which is double the baby's size. My nephew fits in size small, but I did get him the medium one following my mom's advice. That's also logical in a way that the baby can enjoy wearing the clothes much longer.

      As you can see, I've put up clothes which are in set because I've also learned that it is a good way to save money and make the most out of what any store has to offer. Also, it makes babies look much cuter when they wear matching sets of clothes. Don't you agree? We love dressing my nephew in matching outfits!

      Now as much as we love to shower babies with material gifts, we should all remember that above all else, the best gifts that we can offer them as adults are our love and guidance. I hope my nephew grows to be good and (rich) smart. lol In a way, I also hope to be the best aunt he could ever get! :)
