Christmas is in the Air at Bluewater Maribago
Christmas is definitely filling some magic in the air. Sooner than we think, we would be enjoying another really good holidays with our loved ones. I can now feel the warmth and excitement! Have you? Yesterday night, the magic of the holiday season also arrived at Bluewater Maribago Beach Resort. A number of wholesome activities took place at the resort; having its annual Christmas Tree Lighting as its highlight.

The lighting of the parols was led by General Manager Rhyz Buac, Assistant General Manager Domiku Ugarte together with his wife Mrs. Evangeline Hayco-Ugarte and Mr. Kerbasi Ugarte of ARC Hospitals.
Colorful parols, an iconic Filipino star-shaped Christmas lantern, filled the resort to the brim which officially embraces the beginning of the holiday season in Maribago. Prior to the Christmas tree lighting, the establishment held an awarding of winners for their Parol-Making Contest. The parols were all made in accordance with the environmental theme promoted by the establishment.
A special serving of talent by the UC Dance Company entertained last night's onlookers.
Receiving the warmth of the holidays, Bluewater Maribago opens its Balay Pasko (Christmas House) that sells specially packed handmade pastries which are perfect as Christmas gifts or as souvenirs.
Staying true to the resort's vision in making their workforce feel like family, Maribago acknowledges the people behind the success of Balay Pasko.
Balay Pasko's bestseller Cashew Roca is a hardened dark chocolate mixed with cashew nuts and caramel.
Some of Balay Pasko's bestsellers include their very own Peanut Brittle, Cashew Roca, Cookies, and Pretzels.

Indulge in delightful homemade and local sweet treats perfect for sharing and gifts by visiting Balay Pasko. It is open daily until January 5, 2019 from 9 AM to 7 PM at The Bluewater Gallery, Bluewater Maribago Beach Resort.
Right after enjoying the feast of colorful parols and Christmas songs, a benefit dinner was held at the resort's Allegro restaurant. Allegro is open daily and serves a number of specially-curated menus. For an affordable price, everyone gets to enjoy their nightly buffet which does not compromise good taste and quality. If you are on a lookout for a good buffet experience, I highly recommend what Allegro Restaurant in Bluewater offers.
I didn't get to take so many photos of our dinner but above is a photo of their Lapu-Lapu in mayonnaise which is one of my favorites! See, I enjoyed my dinner so much I didn't even bother taking photos of what I ate. LoL
I also enjoyed their green mangoes brined in vinegar. I've been craving for really good green mangoes for quite some time and Allegro didn't disappoint to fill in my cravings! Who else loves green mangoes?!

DeleteDidn't had the chance to visit this place when we went to Cebu. It's my first time to encounter this place too. We stayed at Bluewater Sumilon Island. Is it far from this place?

OH, it's alright Shaira! I bet you had a great stay at Bluewater Sumilon. I haven't been there but I believe the place is also magical as it's also managed by the same people with Bluewater Maribago. :) Yes, dear. It's far from Maribago. Maribago's in the north area of Cebu while Sumilon is in the southern area.
