Ever since I finished reading Laura Esquivel's masterpiece (Like Water for Chocolate), I've been aching to have a fiesta of Mexican flavors. In my beloved city of Cebu, there are some Mexican restaurants where I can have some Mexican foods but something authentic is rare. Plus, the distance from those food establishments from our abode is quite a challenge on my part. What's good for me and for other Cebuanos though is that our city never runs out of Mexican staples like burrito, nachos, and tacos. DeleteGlad to see that you are talking about Mexican food, I know is hard to get authentic Mexican food outside Mexico, maybe it looks more like Tex Mex for me but the fried taco made my mouth watering haha!
