I've been listening to classic songs since I discovered that Air Supply will have a concert in our city. Apart from my favorite jazz music, I've heard some that mirror the glamour of the roaring twenties. All the sounds and beats got me thinking of my current fashion style. It inspired me to sport some retro-inspired pieces in my daily outfits, with vintage shoes for women leading the way.

What I love about vintage shoes, regardless of whether they are classic Mary Jane shoes, which I super love or colorful leather shoes, is their undeniable charisma. They look effortlessly chic and classic, alleviating the overall look of anyone who wears them. I also love how they evoke an adorable sense of nostalgia in someone's look, which can be styled easily and endlessly. Don't you love it when you can wear and style your shoes in many ways? I do!

How do you style vintage shoes? I love pairing them with fun socks and shorts, skirts, or dresses. I choose those with a bit of heel. I love wearing heels, and I'm so happy that most vintage shoes for women have them. This is one of the reasons why I'm also checking out a variety of them. Although I've mentioned that I have a thing for Mary Janes, I'm also falling deeper in love with Platform Heels and Kitten Heels.

Authentic vintage shoes are a bit pricey, but we're now extra lucky since a number of online shops and boutiques now sell more affordable versions. Just be sure to check if the materials being used are sustainable and worth the money. The best thing about opting for authentic vintage shoes, though, is that you are contributing to the sustainable fashion industry. All you need to do is care for your shoes properly to prevent any signs of wear and tear.

Whether you're a seasoned collector or a simple gal looking to try something new, vintage footwear is a treasure for every woman.
