Jude Gabato Salon Opens its 3rd Branch and its 1st Franchise at Colon (Updated)

Jude Gabato Salon, a homegrown Cebuano beauty salon since 2016, has officially welcomed its first franchisee, Joma Leovent Dosdos, a rising businessman in the metro. In February 2017, Jude Gabato Salon opened its second branch. Within two years, it had expanded further, creating opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs to invest in the beauty brand. Its tagline, “Come and Be Judiefied,” has lived up to its promise, earning a loyal following among stylish Cebuanas. The salon has become a go-to destination for makeup artistry and beauty services, especially for brides and debutantes.

Also in 2017, Jude Gabato, the brain behind the brand, shared his personal journey of climbing the ladder of success, step by step, steadily. His story remains one of the most heartwarming success stories in Cebu’s beauty industry.

Jude Gabato’s first franchisee said that aside from their close relationship with Jude, they are well-versed with how Jude works and with the services that he offers – something that is of high quality.

As he invites Cebuanos to visit the latest addition of his salons, he assured everyone that Jude Gabato Salon will provide nothing but top-notch salon services.

Now, Jude Gabato is not done expanding and influencing fellow entrepreneurs on bringing out the beauty in every Cebuana. With its third branch strategically located at the heart of Metro Cebu, Colon St., it will surely follow the success of its predecessor branches.
To welcome guests to the Judiefied experience, Jude Gabato Salon Colon Branch is giving away great deals and promos for the whole month of May.

I also brought my mom to the salon for mother's day to pamper her and she was indeed #judiefied
My mother was so happy and satisfied with her manicure and pedicure services. She opted for a fresh pink-orange nail polish color which matched her outfit well.
Make your moms or yourselves happy by visiting Jude Gabato Salon and be #judiefied.

⚠️⚠️⚠️UPDATE⚠️⚠️⚠️
I went back to the salon with my sister because I wanted to treat her for her upcoming first wedding anniversary. At first, everything was fine—we had a great time that day. I thought treating her at the salon would be a perfect way to cap off our day.

My sister and I both opted for a manicure-pedicure service. My sister felt great because the person who did her nails was very accommodating. For me, though, the woman was extremely rude. She came over with a blank, almost angry face and asked, "What do you want?" I didn’t mind at first, thinking maybe she was having a bad day.

However, she did my nails with a heavy hand, which made me very uncomfortable. I tried talking to my sister about a show playing on the salon TV, and we laughed at a funny news feature. But then she snapped, "Shut up. Stop moving." I didn’t realize customers were expected to be completely silent, as if in a library! At that point, neither my sister nor I wanted to stay. We were both intimidated. My sister, who also wanted her hair done, decided not to get any hair service.

I ended up with wounds on my nails, but that wasn’t the worst part—the rudeness of the staff was.

Jude Gabato actually reached out to me about the incident and apologized, which I appreciate. Everything’s cool now. Would I still recommend Jude Gabato Salon? Yes, but specifically for the Colon Branch, I think they need to improve their customer service. Based on my experience as a paying customer, the poor service my sister and I received from one staff member left a bad impression.

I won’t be going back to the Colon Branch, but I wouldn’t discourage others from trying it. My recommendation: Stay away from the staff member named Daisy, who did my manicure-pedicure service. I just hope the salon addressed the incident appropriately.
