You came to me like an anonymous letter.
Sealed tightly, 
wrapped in a blank envelope.
My fingers swelled with questions 
As it carefully examine your edges.
Breathing questions
Like who you are
And what kind of words live within you.
I had you for four years in my memento box along with the things I treasured the most.
Yet are still an unknown letter,
full of words unfamiliar to my soul.
But I shall keep reading you again
and again.
And perhaps someday,
In one of my night’s rest
Or in one of my sleepless mornings,
I shall gain the knowledge where to send my heart’s reply.

    Love the last line. It must be heartwarming to receive snail mail once again and knowing it is from someone who has a certain admiration to you, it makes the heart flutter. And the passing time gave it more meaning, though unknown, a kind of witness to what is to hope for, tomorrow.
