Craftdawgs:The New Breed of Hotdogs

Hey guys! How was your weekend? I hope something good is within your reach as I always consider weekends as a great time for seeking new things and adventure. My friend and I was beyond lucky when we were able to try Craftdawgs, the new breed of hotdogs! Hotdogs are one of my favorite snacks so when we found out about Craftdawgs, my friend and I didn't hesitate to try it out.

We were so curious about how the hotdogs taste like primarily because of their names. They are so catchy and interesting. Right now they have six different kinds of dawgs and two different kinds of fries.
When we got to their space in Ayala Mall, we asked the salesladies which ones are their best sellers. They gladly gave us some names Craftdawgs and we were so excited to try them. According to their salesladies, some of their best sellers are Chili, Katsu, and BaMM. Of course we tried the three of them.
They have two stand tables on their space where customers can freely eat. Each table have three different kinds of condiments that everyone could use and put on their dawgs. They have regular mustard, chili sauce and Sigbin, which is an organic hot sauce. I must say that it is the holy grail for all of the dawgs. I have to warn you though that it is hotter than the Philippines, so prepare your drinks before you start eating your Sigbin topped dawgs. hehe Not even kidding guys, it exceeded my expectation of hot and spicy. You should really try it out!

Chili
15 Spice chili on top a Bacon wrapped dawg with Cheese and Onion
I had Chili since I always love hot and spicy foods. From its name I was expecting that my Craftdawg would burn into my mouth and yes, it was really spicy! seriously guys, it was so hot I couldn't stop drinking water every time I take a bite haha I asked my friend if I had Kylie Jenner's lips after eating cause I felt like my lips got bigger lol
Chili taste really good even without any sauce because it is already flavorful enough. But I must insist that you add some mustard and Sigbin to your dawg because they will surely take Chili's taste to the next level.
Chili is freaking hot and yummy! It is genius!

Katsu
Panko dipped dawg w/ Cabbage and Sesame seed dressing , Japanese mayo, Katsu sauce and Spring onions
My bff Shie had Katsu. She's particularly curious with its name as it sounds like Tonkatsu- a Japanese dish. She did put some mustard on her dawg, but she removed the spring onions in it as she is not a fan of onions. I asked my friend how was it and she said that the first thing that she noticed is the crispiness of the hotdog. She also said that the taste of the dawg itself doesn't need any sauce to make it more flavorful. It is more than enough.
For Shie, Katsu is crispy, meaty, healthy and more than yummy!

BaMM
Bacon Mushroom melt and Jalapeno
Shiela's brother Japet had BaMM. He chose the dawg as the name sounded so cool to him. He said it got him like a bomb! Even though Japet isn't a fan of mushrooms he said he really enjoyed the overall taste of BaMM.
When I asked him how's the taste, not a word came out of his mouth. He silently chewed and finished his dawg.
Then my best friend said, speechless siya sa sarap! Lol

Considering that Craftdawgs is one of the new food stands inAyala, I was beyond happy to know that it was all worth it. It is definitely worth the try. And yes, I would love to try Craftdawgs again. Next time with the other flavors and the fries!!! If you are around the city, make sure you give Craftdawgs a try!

Craftdawgs is located at 3rd Level of Ayala Center Cebu

  5. I like dogs but not hotdawgs but the presentation themselves make them so good to try. Not a fan of hot as well, even if I am in the land of chillies. But thanks for this, I am now putting Cebu in my list this summer.
