EAT BUY TRY (Number Three)

Hello everyone! welcome to the third post of my EAT BUY TRY section! sorry this is a little late, but better late than never right? haha  =)

Anyway, this post is a combination of my favorites and new discoveries. Enjoy reading!

EAT: QQ Ice Shave

This place has been my "tambayan" while I was still in the university. I just love how comfortable the place is. It is a walking distance from our school and easy to locate. I love how nice the staffs are and how clean the cafe is.

Although sometimes the place gets a little bit crowded,it is still a very good place to chill in. You'd think you're in Iceland because of their chilly ice blue walls and penguin stickers. hehe When QQ just opened, they only serve tea variants, their very own Taiwanese style pineapple cake and halo-halo. Now, the cafe is also serving food items like toasted breads *which is my favorite snack from them.

QQ Ice Shave's very own Taiwanese halo-halo. Have you tried this guys/ It was my first time eating such kid of halo2x. It's a real surprise but in fairness it doesn't taste bad. The thing about Taiwanese halo2x is that it doesn't have any milk products. It is healthier too because the ingredients are very healthy like beans, mongo, corn, and the sugar used was the muscovado sugar. They serve it on a big plate which means you can share it with your friends. I think one serving is good for four people. What's more is that it's very affordable for only 70php!

My friends Jongskie and little sis Rose enjoying the place. I miss these girls!

A photo of me and my bff the first time she visited the place. I slightly force her to visit the place at this time but I'm glad we had a great time together. So funny 'cause she wouldn't want to try any milk tea ever again because her stomach felt funny after drinking it with me. hahahaha

I haven't tried their other products yet so I'll just update this post once I do.If you're in Cebu, feel free to chill in this place. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't regret doing so.

BUY: PARISIAN BAG

I actually had this bag for months now because this post had been sitting on my drafts for quite a long time. My apologies! But the photos above were taken right after I purchase the bag.

I never thought shopping for a bag is harder than shopping for a pair of shoes and any clothing items. Well at least that's true for me. I asked my bff Shiela to shop with me because I really need someone to bounce opinions with when buying something.

I want something that is easy to carry and spacious so I ended up buying this sling bag from Parisian. I decided to shop at Parisian again because I trust the quality of their products. Both their shoes and their bags. Their products are also quite affordable so it never leave my pockets empty.

I choose the one in classic tan color because it's simply pretty and it's a good way to substitute the black color. Most of my bags are black in color so I wanted to try something else. Moreover, I feel that I can easily match this with any outfit so I'm very happy with this bag.

TRY: RED LOGO BODY SPRAY

(Sorry for the quality of these photos)
I decided to try products from Red Logo not because I'm crazy over them but because my friend is selling me one. I never had anything from Red Logo before too so maybe I'd give it a try.

I didn't order anything from their cosmetics line because I've so much unfavorable reviews about them. Instead, I ordered two of their recently launched body spray.I'm not so crazy about body sprays and honestly I only use minimal amount of them.

I ordered 2 of their Sweet Shoppe body sprays which are in Caramel and Strawberry. What really gets me most is their packaging! It is so cute and girly! haha I guess I'm in luck because when I used the sprays they seem so good. They have this "kikay" and very sweet smell. The caramel one smells really like a caramel while the strawberry one really smells like a sweet strawberry candy.

I'm not sure if I'll buy one again but I don't have any regrets with their body sprays.

I guess that would be all for the third EAT BUY TRY entry everyone. Let me know what are your thoughts in the comment section below.

Have an extraordinary life!
Good luck!

love lots,
Tin

  2. I like this segment of your blog and I mentioned it before. I must do something like - Go, Stay and See, lakwatsa na naman. Did you ever ask what QQ means? I heard from a friend that QQ is something like Facebook but in Chinese. I had been to Taiwan twice but had never tasted halo halo this style though I will die for their milktea especially the one from Taichung. I also find it difficult to buy a bag, not because of the colour but because of my budget, lol! Anyway, no body spray for me. Mabaho lungs!
