DIY: Floral Hair Wreath

Hey guys! so lately I've been seeing fashionistas all over the net wearing what usually Saints wear-->WREATHs!  Exactly! Now, can you imagine yourself wearing one? I don't know if you'd want to but probably it may depend on your preference of style. Personally I think every girl looks gorgeous wearing one. Maybe because it floral hair wreaths have this power to give the one who wore it a romantic and enchanting look.
You don't really have to that gutsy to wear one in malls.lol. I believe floral hair wreaths can be very effective when used as props during photo shoots, weddings, costume parties and etc.
Basically the main reason why I'm making floral hair wreaths is because my friends and I decided to do a photo shoot (a post debut shoot for my "manghud" and a fashion shoot for CRAP JO) soon with them wearing the wreaths on their heads.

Some of my favorite fashion bloggers wearing floral hair wreaths  :)

Laureen Uy, my favorite Filipina fashion blogger.

Iga Wysocka .She's my favorite lookbook.nu fashion blogger. She's so pretty!!!

Anastasia Siantar, another fashion blogger from lookbook.nu. I love her! She's so pretty and her outfit's oh-so-awesome! You should check her out too :)
All photos are from Laureen,Iga and Anastasia's blog
If you'll try searching in any web search engines you'll find a lot of tutorials how to make one. I don't know how others did it or what stuffs they need to make one, but I might as well show you mine.
Here's my DIY Floral Hair Wreath tutorial :)

What you need:
For the assorted artificial flowers you can choose any colors and any size you want. My friends and I chose those flowers with complementary and sweet colors. (we did shop together) Well, they love girly colors like pink so what can I do? hehe We got them from a local fashion shop that sells various fashion needs like different accessories. If you're from Cebu City (like me) , we got them from Cebu Fashion. I got the tape covered wire from the same store as well. Actually it's just a very thin wire covered with a green colored tape, so if you can't find anything similar to that one I guess you could make your own. Just make sure the wire's very thin so that it would be easy for you to bend it in forming a circle for the wreath. Also, I prefer you choose the color green for the tape so that it would't look odd combined with the flowers.
I'm so sorry for the low photo quality, I took these photos using my sister's phone camera. I wanna show you here a clearer view of the flowers. Yep, those are Roses (my favorite :) You don't need to choose Roses too if you love Daisies, then choose Daisies. My friends and I decided to choose the flowers in tiny sizes too because we don't want to look ridiculous ? I don't whatever. haha
My friend Joanna chose these Coral Pink colored Rose buds. She really love pink.
I'm the one who insisted these Peach colored flowers not because it's my favorite color but because I want to add something neutral in the wreath. I don't want all the flowers to look so bold with such powerful colors like the coral pink above.
The most lovely among the flowers? I think so. I fell in love with these the moment I saw these babies. And hey!  these one's the most expensive.lol But I really love how it looked.So...
White colored roses for virginity.BOOM!haha
here's my baby brother , idk why this photo reminds me of Julius Cesar.lol I don't know if my brother's a faggot, he insist in trying on the wreath I just made and have a photo taken for him. I did his wish just to keep him shut his mouth.
What to do:
After you've gathered all the stuffs needed, you have to form the tape covered wire into a circle close to the size of your head first. You have to attached two separate wires first before you could add more. The two wire will be, shall we say the skeleton/pattern for your wreath.
All you have to do to attach the wires is to twist it in both sides until it's all attached an form into a circle. Afterwhich you can now add more layers of tape covered wires to strengthen the bond of the wreath. You now have your wreath, all you have to do now is to add the flowers.

Btw, the flowers I have had tiny wires on it so what I did is to twist those small wires to the circle formed tape covered wires.

Floral Hair Wreath:
Here's how it looked like once it's finished :) This one's not really finish, I have to add more flowers to make it more beautiful.

Illustrations I made inspired by the hair wreath:
I love her eyeshadow. This one's really from the hair wreath I made.
Made this one prior from the illustration above. This just proves that hair wreaths look beautiful in any sizes.
That's it
Thank you for reading!
