My Favorite Looks From Met Gala 2015

     The Met Gala is undeniably one of the most sought after fashion event in the United States. It is attended by big celebrities, fashion designers, and other important names in the industry.

      Met Gala what? If you are not familiar with the Met Gala, it is an annual fundraising event Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute in New York City. Every year, a theme is chosen where attendees of the event match their fashion. This year's theme is- 'China: Through The Looking Glass'.

    Knowing the theme excites me as it is very interesting. It also made me feel so curious on what my favorite stars will wear to match it. Browsing at various photographs online, here are my favorite looks.

 Not a really big fan of Kim K and Riri's looks but I admire how they stay being them by wearing something that reflects who they are and their personal style.

      It's hard to choose which looks should I include in this list because as expected, almost all of the looks in Met Gala are stunning. If I'll include everything this list would be endless. lol

    I know of Met gala but this year I forgot about it. I do like your selection of outfits. I didn't see any of them before your post and I will trust in your judgement because I'm too tired to browse them all. My favourite is Emily Blunt but that may be due to her inner elegance even more than to Prada's design (that is lovely but it wouldn't look so stunning on somebody else than her)....I also really like the three ladies wearing D&G.

    Thank you for your comment...Lately, I've been preferring water colours because I'm too broke for oil paints ha ha...but I do like all the technique, they're all fun in their own way and offer different possibilities.

      Thank you dear! Yes, Emily Blunt looks elegant, maybe more elegant than her Prada outfit. Those girls in D&G are really stunning, they look godly in their overall look. I guess nobody fails wearing D&G hehe

    Nice picks sis! There's a lot of meme about Rihanna's dress, comparing it to an omelette! :D Fave ko yung first two outfits, simple, elegant, and related to the theme. Not a fan din nina Kim na dresses, parang dinaan sa pagiging revealing. ewan ko kung conservative lang ako pero ayun haha sayang.

    aaahh so thats what met gala is for pala. i didnt know they choose a theme every year lol! i love SJP kahit na her dress is a bit overboard aaanndd ROSIE is so sexy! diana argon dress is so her - simple but beautiful. si kim naman is just too much here, so is riri but idk i feel like riri has reached the level where can wear anything she wants na and shes still untouchable.

      Just found out about it last year lang din sis hahaha Yes! SJP's outfit is a little bit much but I think something with a little drama is good if you are attending the Met Gala. Yess!!! love their outfits sis, ewan ko kay Kim hahha she looks good naman wearing something more decent hahha and Riri is an icon in the making! <3
