Hello beautiful ladies! I'm sorry if I haven't been to your blogs recently. I'd like to let you know that I just started working for a new company. Yes, as blissful as it is, I can't deny the fact that it is also making me busier than usual. 

    Summer is definitely over for me, but I still try my best to dance in the rain. My new job entails wearing something formal. Not just with clothes, but also with my accessories. Bye bye dangling earrings for me on workdays. On the bright side, I am welcoming new babies on my wardrobe. Specially, I've looks for good shoes and bags that I can wear to work. I browse for some inspirations online and did some shopping via my trusted mobile apps for shopping. I just can't call it a day without having a crossbody bag for myself and I made sure I have one. What I love about women crossbody bags is that they are so versatile that you can actually wear them anywhere, yes, including when you are going to work. In such case, I have hear some really good yet oh-so affordable crossbody bags that I'm sure you'll also love to own. 

    First up is this beautiful blue crossbody bag. What I love most about this is its structure.    Last thing on my list is this adorable red crossbody bag. Lately, I've been falling in love with the fiery color and as a matter of fact, I did buy myself a red-colored satchel bag recently. I don't mind having another red bag especially when it looks like this. The touch of gold on its buckle and straps make it much attractive. I can see myself wearing this on dates and other formal parties which I have to attend for work. 

      One of the most versatile fashion pieces one could ever have is sunglasses. It is not only a summer staple, but it is also great in giving your overall look more extra. Not to mention, it is also a great cover up if you're hitting the streets without your concealer on. That's just some of the reasons why even celebrities invest a lot of dough in looking for the perfect sunglasses. 

        I used to go for any sunglasses as long as it has dark lenses. However, I learned that I should also consider my face shape in choosing one that could make my whole look flattering. I learned that the most flattering ones are those that could provide both balance and contrast to one's face shape. For such reason, it's advisable that you know your face shape before purchasing any sunglasses. I obviously have a round shape.     It wasn't that long since I've once again tried some lipsticks from Maybelline. I did love some of their products before, but I wasn't particularly fond of their lipsticks. I have tried some of their lipsticks and I didn't have good moments with them. However, when Maybelline put their SuperStay matte liquid lipsticks in the market, I got so curious about it. It's all probably because I idolized one of their celebrity endorsers or maybe because of a promising review that I have read about them. Nevertheless, I made the decision to buy one of their SuperStay lipstick products while shopping online and it turned out to be a good decision.

The lipstick came in a vacuumed plastic seal. No boxes. No drama. The material that holds the product is all made out of plastic but it's fine. I don't have any issue with how it was packaged and I find the product very sleek and easy to store.

I bought mine from an online shop in the Philippines called BeautyMNL and it costs 299php ($5.81). On their website, it costs around $9.00 plus their shipping fee. I would say that the price is good and just fine for a drugstore lipstick.

    Maybelline's SuperStay lipsticks come in so many different shades which could be overwhelming. But, they are all really lovely and interestingly, Maybelline gave each of them creative names. Unfortunately, I didn't like the shades of the lipsticks which has the name of my liking so I decided to get the shade that would suit my skin tone. I also wanted something that I could wear daily that without being too bold, too dark, or too light. I eventually ended up getting the shade 245 which is named "Seeker". Interesting name right?

    Hello, lovelies! One of the best things that are about to unfold to me this weekend is the homecoming event at the university where I graduated. I'm always grateful for the things I've learned in our school and meeting the wonderful people that had made my school days so much brighter once again is pure bliss. 

        I definitely cannot wait for the event and even though I could not just contain my excitement, something about it makes me feel nervous. It's not meeting my university batch mates and professors, it's the dress code! I know. Sometimes, dress codes can be a little bit more daunting especially if you do not have the luxury of time in choosing them. The great thing, however, is that there are now countless online shops where you can stop non stop for the dress of your choice. 

         The dress code for our event aside from something formal, we need to wear either floor-length or cocktail dresses. I love dressing up and online shopping is actually one of my stress relievers these days, but, I still find it a bit more challenging looking for a dress that suits me and my budget. On the bright side, I have the internet as my best friend that helps me picture out or visualize the dress that I want. Anything else needed is shopping for a dress of similar fashion and of course, you can't miss good accessories. Here are some of my quintessential homecoming short dresses, and I hope that my choices would delight you as well. 

     Even though my favorite color is blue, I fell in love with this red dress. Aside from it being formal, I also find this dress' structure so charming that I feel that I need to own this.

      This is another red dress that I fell in love with. There's just something powerful about red-colored dresses regardless of their styles. It may look low-key, but this is definitely the type of this that I would love to purchase.

Wearing something fancy surely makes me happy. Which is why I super adore this Elegant Off-the-Shoulder Appliques . Is it just me or something with laces and appliques just look more elegant and fairytale-like?  I would die having this dress. I know that I can wear this not only to a homecoming event but also to something special such as weddings.
