Here's a short fable shared to us by a Mexican nun, a missionary invited by our Spanish class professor Crisanto Toledo. I forgot her name but I'm pretty sure she's Mexican you can tell by her accent. And she's really kind to share to us her time and this wonderful thought.hehehhe.
       Although the story is short it contains a very essential lesson everyone should learn. The story inspires me not just to dream but also to make my dream come true. Well, I am a dreamer, I am somebody full of dreams and I want most of them to come true. Whenever I feel like giving up my dreams I just start thinking of this wonderful story.

" Go forward God knows the measure of your heart."

   A man found an eagle and put it in the nest of a backyard hen. The eagle hatched with the brood of chickens and grew up with them. All his life the eagle did what the backyard chickens did, thinking he was a backyard chicken, he clucked and cackled. He would thrash his wings and fly a few feet into the air. Years passed and the eagle grew very old.
   One day he saw a magnificient bird far above him in the cloudless sky. It glided in greatful majesty among the powerful wind currents, with scracely a beat of its strong golden wings.
   The old eagle looked up in awe, "Who's that?", he asked.
"That's the eagle. The king of the birds." , say his neighbor.
"He belong to the sky. We belong to the earth we're chickens."
So the eagle lived and died a chicken, for that's what he thought he was.
