For me, sweater weather calls for a cup of coffee and a really good book. Last Monday afternoon, I was caught in heavy rain while going home from a special appointment. I had no choice but to stop by somewhere while waiting for the weather to calm down. Fortunately, I found Abaca Baking Company. The creative and cozy ambiance of the place immediately captured my heart, so I decided to stay and treat myself to a hot cup of coffee.
There are several things to fall in love with about the café, so I knew I just had to blog about it the moment I stepped inside. After giving it some thought, I rounded up the things I love most about the café. By the way, pardon the low quality of the photos. I wasn’t able to bring my go-to camera with me since I didn’t plan on visiting the place. Hence, I took the photos using my phone’s camera.
The first thing that I love the most about the place is its
cozy interior. Everything about the place just makes it very homely. Just check out the beautiful lights inside the cafe's ceiling! It's so pretty and yes, it made me think of my dreams!
Another thing that I love about Abaca Baking Company is the art around the place. The whole café is literally filled with artworks! Interesting paintings are hung all over the walls, adding more beauty to the overall dining experience. I don’t know if you noticed, but just look at those ant decorations above the café’s counter. Don’t they look so dope? I actually want to have them in my bedroom.
Who wouldn't fall in love with the chairs in Abaca? Like seriously, I don't mind sitting in these chairs for days. They are just so cool, and I'm actually thinking of re-creating them for my bedroom!
I can hear that chair roaaarrrinnggg!!! lelz
Abaca Baking Company serves some of the yummiest desserts and probably the most delicious food. I ordered a café latte (PHP 130) for myself and a chocolate cupcake called
Trash Trailer (PHP 75), which is the perfect treat for all chocolate lovers out there. And hey, just look at how amazing their paper cup is! I love it. It’s probably the artsiest paper cup I’ve ever seen.
The best thing about Abaca Baking Company isn’t just the place or the food—it’s the warmth of the people who work there. I wish every café or establishment had staff like the ones at this café. They are very polite and welcoming, just like the place itself. Overall, I love the café, and there’s honestly nothing that I dislike about it.
Even though I spent the afternoon alone at Abaca, I found myself a cozy place where I could spend a few hours reading, taking notes, and drinking a good cup of coffee while listening to the cold December rain outside. I hope that this year, I’ll get the chance to spend another day in such a comfortable place.
A relaxing place to dine in, Abaca Cafe is best for everyone who loves the art and food! If you wanna chill alone or with some friends, Abaca Cafe is the best.
