Be prepared to prevent shedding

Virgin hair does not typically shed very much at all, but curly Malaysian virgin hair is prone to a normal amount of shedding when compared to non-virgin hair. To help prevent excess shedding, make sure you are following basic hair maintenance by only brushing it gently, never combing excessively, and never using too much heat or too many products on the hair whenever possible. Keep it moisturized

Never brush it when it's dry

Normally, you would only brush hair when it's dry-but curly virgin hair vendors should only be brushed when it's wet. Brushing curly hair when it's dry will cause breakage, frizziness and shedding. When it comes to what to brush your hair with, you should ideally only brush it with a specialized wide toothed comb or a Denman brush.
