stop this breathless chase

red velvet cupcakes in a plate.

I never knew

This heart's adventure is

pushing me at the edge of uncertainty's table
as I wait to
grow into you.

Let's stop and throw a party for two.

    This style of visual poetry makes the poem more enticing to read, more fluid to look at, and more dramatic in presentation. Very creative Cristine and inspiring as well!

    You know I always love it when you share your poetry with us. You are such a natural poet! I really like this poem, both on emotional and intellectual level...I enjoy how you play with words and create wonderful imaginary for us. Beautiful references to Alice in Wonderland, one of my all time fav novels.

    One thing I also admire is how perfect this poem looks on the visual level. I like how you played with shape of the poem but also with colour and italics....ingenious.
