Hello everyone! How was your holy week? I hope you had a good and blessed one. I believe it gave us the chance to a look forward to a new beginning with love.

Speaking of beginnings, the month of April marks the beginning of summer in the Philippines. And because of I have here a very simple and easy nail art tutorial for anyone who adores summer!
I looked for a tropical fruit nail art that I haven't done before and I've found a pineapple nail art.
I did on it on my nails, so why not share it with you?
Here are some of the nail polish colors that you will need. Any brand of nail polish will do as long as you got the color that are needed to create the pineapples.
♥Yellow nail polish ( Caronia nail polish in Sweet Surprise)
♥Orange nail polish ( Sassy Colors nail polish)
♥Green nail polish (Sassy Colors nail polish)
♥Colourless nail polish (Rain Colortrends in Sheer Bliss)
♥Nail art brush (optional)
The orange and the green nail polish that I'm using already have a nail art brush so I don't need to get one. If yours' doesn't have a nail art brush, then you will need one to create a clean look.

What I'll be showing you guys are two of the most perfect and easiest nail art design for summer! Strawberry and Watermelon nail art are both popular and pretty nail art design. Both are inspired by fruits and when I hear fruits, all I can think of is summer! haha These nail art designs can also go along together with your chosen summer fashion look. This is perfect for those who love the the touch of red and the aura of summer. These nails will have you people looking at your nails twice! Both are easy but of course you will need the right nail colors and tools. Most importantly, you need patience :) which always comes along in doing any form of artworks.

STRAWBERRY NAIL ART

1. Paint your nails red. Or if you want to, you may use any shades of color close to red. Something that will resemble the base color of a strawberry, like pink!
2. Now using a green nail polish, paint the strawberry leaves. I know it looks like it kinda hard to do but believe me, it's very easy. You just need a striper or a small brush to do it. If you don't have any brush or striper, check out is tutorial to make one: click here. I don't own any striper or brush too and that's the vid where I learned how to make mine.
3. Next, using a dotting tool or a toothpick, paint the strawberry seeds. You can use a yellow or a white nail polish for your strawberry seeds. Draw small seed-like dots, spacing them evenly for a more strawberry like look.
4. Finish off your strawberry nails by applying a colourless top coat. Make sure the colored nail polish were dry before doing so. In my case, I use a glittered colourless nail polish. It looks wondrous and I love it!  :)

• Paint all your nails red. Let it dry.

• Paint your fingertips with a dark green color. Use a striper in doing so. Again, let the dark green color dry.

• Add a horizontal  line of a lighter shade of green nail polish on top of the dark green polish.

• Paint a vertical thin white line under the green paint for a more watermelon-ish look :) hehe

• Add some evenly distributed black dots over the red paint for the watermelon seeds.
• Finish off by applying your favorite colourless nail polish after everything has dried out.

 This is long overdue but here goes nothing!
       Ever since when I was in high school, I always wanted to do my own nail art. The problem is I was never patient in letting the nail polish dry, so I always end up removing it. Most of the colors I adore are the darker ones e.g red,black.
When I entered the university, I forbid my self in applying nail polish because it's actually against the rule of our school. I only keep them clean and short, I never polish them until I met my friend Stephy (Stephanie) of
Steph-g.blogspot.com. Stephy inspired me to give way to my creativity by doing nail art. You might as well visit her blog for more creative nail art designs. She also blogs about make-up and some other creative stuffs.

Here’s some very basic nail art I did  weeks ago! Enjoy!

Nail Polish Used

• Caronia White Satin (regular)
• Caronia Black Velvet

What you need:

• Black and White Nail Polish
• Colourless Topcoat Nail Polish
• Dotting tool 
• Patience

       First, apply a white nail polish in a round shape on the lower part of your nails. The round white nail polish will serve as the Panda face. Practice patience and let it dry before applying the black nail polish using a dotting tool. If you don't have the dotting tool for pro, you can use hairpins like what I used for this one. Use the round tip of the hairpin. Apply bigger black circles on both sides of the upper portion of the Panda face. Then, apply smaller black circles on the panda face that will serve as the eyes and the nose. Let it dry. Apply white dots on the black circles on the panda eyes to complete his look :D
        Again, let everything dry place after applying your colourless coat. charang! Panda is done!

• Newspaper
• Rubbing Alcohol
• LOTS of Patience

      What I love about this nail art is that it looks so unique. You can actually fool people by thinking that you have your nails done in a salon :) At first, my friends didn't believe me when I told them that I have my nails done all by myself. It does look pretty cool. You'll notice people sitting parallel to you while riding a jeepney staring at your nails. HAHA. Newspaper nails is my favorite nail art design. I just can't have my nails with this design for a long time because this needs a lot of time (and patience).
