What Kind of Teacher will I Be?
"Teachers are angels who minister to the young. They are God’s chosen people, blessed with gifts of patience, love, and self-sacrifice."
Much has been said about the teaching profession. I can’t remember when I decided to pursue this path, but I am certain about the kind of teacher I want to be in the future.
I will be a teacher who inspires her students to reach as high as the sky. A teacher who is compassionate and patient, able to guide both brilliant minds and those who may struggle. I will motivate my students to build a strong foundation of values and character. At the same time, I will be firm in discipline, reminding them to use their common sense—even when it seems uncommon. Most importantly, I will teach my students not only the lessons within the four walls of the classroom but also the essential lessons life offers beyond it.
Teaching is indeed a difficult and tiring profession. It requires educators to give their whole selves for others to learn. In return, every learner deserves a teacher whose heart burns with passion for teaching.
