Recently, watching the award-winning movie "Society of the Snow" made me think deeply about what I should be wearing when flying. I asked myself, "What would be an appropriate outfit if you have to be on a flight?" In case of emergency, it is best to be prepared. I won't be going somewhere snowy soon, but I believe it is necessary to dress right if you're going for a cold-weather adventure. I'm not just talking about climbing on icy slopes. For instance, you can wear BJ boots if you are going outdoors during colder months.

Those boots are waterproof ankle snow boots. What's great about them is that they protect the foot while keeping it warm. Plus, they are comfortable to wear. And if you're into fashion, which I know most of you who read my blog are, don't worry; you can easily style them.

I've been listening to classic songs since I discovered that Air Supply will have a concert in our city. Apart from my favorite jazz music, I've heard some that mirror the glamour of the roaring twenties. All the sounds and beats got me thinking of my current fashion style. It inspired me to sport some retro-inspired pieces in my daily outfits, with vintage shoes for women leading the way.

The winter months are now here, which means winter is coming in some parts of the world. I live in a country with a tropical climate, but we also enjoy a great amount of rain over the next few months until the first chapter of the year. I’m not sure how others stay comfortable during the cold weather, but I do it with my good old cardigan and my squishy fluffy slippers boots at home.

I’m such a fan of my fluffy slippers because they provide my feet with the comfort that I need. Plus, I got one with a very cute design. It’s not that special, but it makes me happy. Anything that makes us happy is worth keeping, right? Those who will be enjoying a winter wonderland will also love it. I mean, who does not love the feeling of soft, fluffy footwear?

I personally think ladies fluffy slippers are wonderful foot companions and must be a staple in every woman’s wardrobe. Why not, right? Any lady of any age can rock them, whether at home relaxing or running errands. You may think they are just for function, but there are available ones in the market today that are sleek and fashionable. I have seen some that can be styled, whether you are dressing up or dressing down. They can also be worn according to one’s style preference. Whether it is maximalist or minimalist, I believe there’s fluffy footwear available.  However, I want them to be edgy or cute since these two reflect my style. Still, comfort and quality must also be in mind.

Some of the things that I think about when shopping for footwear are material, sole, and style. When I was much younger, I only thought about how trendy my footwear was, but now, I’m into something I can wear many times and that can last me long. For fluffy slippers, faux fur or velvet are excellent materials since they are naturally warm. Also, is it just me, or is their texture just something to die for?

I also check the soles of my footwear. I want to make sure they provide me with the proper traction and support. Most of all, I want any piece that goes into my wardrobe to mirror my style, and I think that goes for everyone. Our clothing, whether purses or shoes, must make our hearts happy!
