Makeup Tutorial (A Poem)

I.

Clean your face.

Free it from any form of negativities.

Gently scrub it with time

And let it exfoliate the troubles

Of the past.

Moisturize it not with tears of sorrow

But with tears of joy.

To achieve a flawless foundation,

Prime it with good deeds and moral values.

Conceal not your imperfections,

Rather embrace them wholeheartedly.

Then powder your foundation with love

To make it last longer.

II.

Define your brows with wisdom and beauty.

Yes, they go together but they are sisters not twins.

Apply generosity all over eyelids

But don’t forget to deepen it with justice.

Finish your eye makeup by outlining what’s good

In every person you meet.

III.

Contour your dreams and

Let your cheeks burn just like your passion.

Highlight it with hard work and perseverance.
Let those things make you glow from within.

Wear truth upon your lips

And smile confidently because now your makeup is done.

Hello Bunny

     Hey guys! as promised, here's an outfit post that I styled featuring the very cute bunny tights sent to me by Dresslink.

     For this very cute and quirky outfit, I asked my sister if I could style her and she said yes! I was so glad because we do not get so much time bonding. Our styling session gave us time to be together and that was really cool. Here are some of the photos from our photo shoot session together.

I adore Hello Kitty and my sister's sweater is just perfect. Too bad she bought it ahead of me! Otherwise, I would be the one buying it for myself. I thought of pairing her sweater with a black skater skirt, but then my sister suggested that her little black dress from Forever21 would be perfect. 

I then let her wore the cute bunny tights from Dresslink which made her outfit way more cute. Something that is what we were aiming for when we exchanged ideas for her look. To put some "nerdy" fashion into her cute outfit, I let my sister wore the specs from Dresslink too. We completed her look with a pink pair of flats, but I really thought a pink/white sneakers would be much better. Anyway, I do hope you love the styling. 

All of the pieces from the look were all owned by my sister, except for the tights and specs which were sent to me by Dresslink! I hope you do love the cute outfit that my sister and I shoot together. Thank you for reading and have a wonderful day!

Ever Bilena Cosmetics Haul + Valentine's Day Makeup Look

     I always love trying out new makeup products even though I am not a makeup artist and even if I still have some on my makeup box. I don't know why. #girlproblems hahaha I found out that Ever Bilena Cosmetics or EB Advance released a new set of products for their cosmetics line so I decided to check their counter in a local mall near my place. I cant remember the last time I bought items from them, but as I looked at their products and took a couple of swatches, I was amazed by them that I hurriedly bought for myself.

      By the way, if you haven't heard of Ever Bilena Cosmetics, it's a local cosmetics line here in the Philippines. Its actually one of the most successful and popular line of cosmetics in our country. Although they do not sell products that are top of the line, I must say that their products work fine as well. What's also good about their products is that almost all of them are budget friendly so every Filipina can enjoy their products without sacrificing their pockets.

      In this blog post, I'll show you what I bought from the EB and what I think of the products. Here are some of the stuffs that I got from them:

EB Advance eye shadow in Sunset Cafe is a very good product. I wasn't expecting so much from it because of its price, but as I try it on my eyes, I am very happy and satisfied with my purchase. It is a very pigmented set of eye shadows with very beautiful earthlike and romantic colors.

With just a swatch! The pigmentation of these eye shadows is really crazy!

EB Advance Eye Shadow in Sunset Cafe

Packaging: The product is wrapped with a plastic upon purchased. Not a very durable kit, but very compact. Can be easily  brought anywhere.

Price: 120php (a little over 2$)

PROs: very pigmented, budget friendly, comes in beautiful shades, long lasting (especially when used with eye primer)

CONs: all are in shimmery shade; doesn't have a shade in matte formula

     The second product that I bought is definitely one of the newly released products of Ever Bilena. If I  am not mistaken, they released this one late last year. Lately, I've been crazy about trying on liquid lipsticks so I didn't hesitant to give this one a try. I also didn't expect so much in this product because of its relatively low price, but just like the eye shadow kit, this product exceeded my expectation as well.

EB Advance Liquid Lipstick in Pink Pearl

Packaging: Wrapped in a plastic upon purchase. Ingredients and other important information about the product is listed on the plastic wrap. The product comes in a 

PROs: moisturizing, doesn't have a smell, budget friendly, comes in many shades, long lasting (can lasts up to 4-6 hours without any retouch)

CONs: none so far

       As you can see, it looks bright,almost overwhelming in the photos, but in person, it's actually a bit darker. I am very happy and satisfied with my Ever Bilena cosmetics haul. I didn't only get products in a good price, but also in a fair quality. For that, I highly recommend my purchase.

Now for the Valentine's Day look, here's a simple tutorial I've prepared using Ever Bilena's eye shadows in Sunset Cafe for my eyes and EB Advance liquid lipstick in Pink Pearl for my lips!

Dresslink Haul + Review

     I was very lucky to get the chance to get my hands on some products from one of my favorite online shopping store, Dresslink . The package was sent to me last month and it just arrived yesterday. I was very excited to open my parcel and check out what's in store for me.

   The items came to me in a simple plastic pack. Nothing special but I am glad that they are wrapped safely with the control number assigned to it.

    I am a sucker of products that are stylish and functional so all of the items above are wonders for me. Here are some close up shots of the items and I also include a brief review about each.       I love the simplicity and the style of this top so much. Not to mention its price that is very budget friendly. This is perfect for summer when the weather is hot. Even though this is a see-through top, anyone can make this look formal by just pairing this with a blazer. I will include this top in an ootd post soon, so stay tuned for that one.

The top arrived wrapped in a simple plastic. (see photo above) Simple packaging but functional.

     Another thing that I got from Dresslink is this pretty rose red colored travel handbag. I am planning to go on a vacation this coming April so this is a must have for me. I want to keep my things organized when I travel so using this would help me a lot. And look at how pretty the color is? I can think of so many things to keep in this handbag.

If you have been reading my blog for quite some time, you know how much I love makeup. And believe me when you start having a decent set of makeup brush, it would be quite addicting to splurge some more! I love keeping more makeup brushes specifically, eye shadow brushes. Getting my hands on this gold and white eye shadow brushes is just a pure bliss for a makeup lover like me!

     Can you imagine paying 1.30$ for five different eye shadows brushes? that is beyond awesome! To show you how they work, I did prepare a makeup look where I used the brushes. Please do check it out too.

     The brushes weren't kept inside any special container. It was delivered inside a plastic wrap (see photo above). But I'm still happy because the plastic kept the brushes clean and free from dirt.

Fashion Korean Framed Glasses Plain Glass Spectacles

      My eyes still work well as of this moment and thank God that I still do not need any glasses. However, I do adore the class and sophistication that it may bring in any outfit. In that case, a glass spectacles would be more than enough for me. I am very happy when I received this camel colored specs from Dresslink as this has been in my wish list last Christmas. And just look at how affordable it is? Perfect for a nerdy/classy outfit! haaha
