Eat Buy Try (Number Four)

Hello everyone! Today's fourth edition of my Eat Buy Try section will show you something cute and worthy. Have fun as you scroll down!

EAT: COFFEE PRINCE CEBU

I know talking about Coffee Prince is kind of a cliche now because too many people have their own share of post about it. But I still got the courage to post this as I wanted to share the wonderful time the place has given to me and my friends.

It was raining when my friends and I visited the place so I wasn't able to take a good shot of the cafe's cute exterior. As expected from any Korean owned establishments, it was aimed to bring something cute and pretty to their customers. They were able to do that with the help of their whole interior design and cute stuff toys and decors.

I love how the management were able to pull off a clean and cute establishment. The whole place is full of wooden division where any group of people could choose to stay.

It is safe to say that the whole place is full of Instagram worthy angle! The props and toys all around will make your day brighter too. I just hope they are constantly sanitized. :)

I was glad that they had wonderful workers too who gladly served us. I really value good service above everything else so I must say that the HR staff of the company did a great job in hiring the best people.

We were not hungry when we visit the place so we only ordered drinks for ourselves and a snack for the three of us. I had my usual fave- the Matcha Frappe which tastes really good. It is not too sweet and not too bitter. I hate it when cafes put too much sugar on their tea just because they think it would be bitter without it. But honestly, it mustn't be mixed with too much sugar or else it would defeat its purpose of being a tea.
My friends had their usual chocolate drinks. Cherry had the Java Chip Frappucino 170php while Shiela had something which is also chocolatey. Sorry, I forgot the name hehe but my friend says it is also really good.

My bff Shiela decided to order a chocolate waffle 170php for the three of us which has ice cream as its topping. In fairness, it tastes good. It wasn't mind blowing but the blend of the chocolate waffle and the chocolate flavored ice cream was really good.

The rest of the afternoon was spent goofing around with the huge stuff toys and picture taking. lol

The whole place is extremely spacious. They even have decors and eating areas outside just to make sure everyone will have a place to sit in. The area is also photo worthy.

If you are not from Cebu, you'd be surprise how Korean cafes are sprouting like mushrooms all over the city. It might be too overwhelming but still it cannot be denied how they brought a little bit of spice for the Cebuanos, not to mention how it contributes to the local economy. chos!

I don't usually hoard cute and girly stuffs but I also adore them. I seldom buy something that pleases only my eyes because when I buy something, I also make sure that I am buying something functional.

When I laid my eyes on the mismatch flats above, I instantly fell in love with it. Not only because it is cute but also because it reminded me of something very close to my heart- my dog Robin :(

Quick story: Last summer, my best friend Sam gave me a very cute black and white puppy. I was scared of taking good care of it because it was my first time owning a dog as a pet. It is also the first time that a dog lives in our house. Eventually, I had to let go of it because everyone in the house hated Robin :( I was really sad because I do not know what to do then. Luckily, my bff Shiela volunteered to take care of her. I was more than happy then but, there are times that I was left to wonder what would it be if I still have Robin with me. Well, things happen so I have to let her go.

I bought the flats from a local seller in Instagram. I know it isn't ideal to buy something like shoes online but in order to compensate the part of me that miss my dog, I bought the flats. I'm not crazy about it but I am very happy because it is comfortable and I'm still using it for months now.

TRY: PERSIAN FOOD AT PERSIAN PALATE

It is a good thing to know that these days, more and more people are opting for healthier options especially when it comes to their food choice. You may have notice how a number of ready to eat and healthy juicing services are offered all over the internet. I'm not so sure about some of them especially its real benefits but I wouldn't share my opinion about them as I haven't tried any of them.

For me, being healthy doesn't need to be expensive. With proper budgeting, you can always eat the desired food of your choice without compromising your health. I am proud to say that I am a fairly good cook. seriously, there are even times where I can cook better meals than my Mom. haha I can actually cook but sometimes, time doesn't allow.

When I started my previous job at a very early schedule, I couldn't cook anything to bring as my lunch. Luckily, there is Persian Palate located near at my working place. At first I thought they are selling expensive foods, but to my surprise they are selling something that are very affordable. Not to mention that their meals are very healthy. The reason why? they do not use Vetsin ( monosodium glutamate) in any of their foods.

When you visit their place, you will be amaze by the awards and recognitions that are given to the restaurant. A number of news clippings about food and health are also seen all over the place. Moreover, the Persian vibe of the place is really relaxing. Feeling mo nasa Persia ka while you are eating lol I am very pleased by how Persian Palate serve delicious foods that are both affordable and healthy.


P.S I only ate my lunch from them. For my lunch I always order their Chicken Shawarma Rice with or sometimes without egg. It is very satisfying unlike the chicken fillets on the popular fast food chains whose size are almost the same as a match box. :)

Currently, Persian Palate has three branches in Cebu City. They are located in Mango Square Mall, Ayala Center and Robinson's Place. I hope they will open more branches soon. The public needs the food that they offer.

Christmas Tine Giveaway! (Closed)

Perfume from Bench . Some reunions happen during Christmas.  Of course, it wouldn't pass without a hug, a kiss or a beso2x with  your friends. For that, it always pay for anyone to smell good so I'm giving away this sweet smelling perfume from Bench.

Skin care products from IWhite Korea . I'm giving away packs of different skin care products from them. I only took a photo of the two packs but there are actually more of them. Just to lazy to get them upstairs while I was shooting lol. I've read countless reviews about these products and I've been using them too. I love how effectively these products are, even if they come in a very affordable price.

Everyday Minerals 11 Piece Brush Set (Review)

     Everyday Minerals brushes are inspired by the traditional Japanese Kabuki performance but are given a modern twist. It is made from 100% bamboo and synthetic bristles, making the brushes durable yet very soft and luxurious.

 The brushes came with them a simple pouch. Each brushes are also wrap with individual plastic too making it free from dust and dirt. I just love it.

What sold me into buying the set is the number of different brushes that are available. The whole set has five (5) different brush for any specifications. From the liquid to dry foundation, to powders and blush ons, the whole set has it.

Of course, a set wouldn't be complete without the eye brushes. For the Everyday Minerals brush set, it has six (6) different brush that are made for different functions. The number really amazed me and how each of they function amazed me more.

What I Love About It:

-affordable

- comes in a very good packaging

-very soft

-easy to clean

-cheap

What I Hate About It:

- None so far :)

Facts about synthetic brushes like the Everyday Minerals brush:

1. They are easy to clean because its bristles dry easily compared to other brushes. It does not also need any special cleaning procedure to maintain its quality. A shampoo and a water is enough.

2. Synthetic brushes are good for any skin even the ones that are sensitive. It does not cause any allergic reactions unlike those that are made of different hair.

That's all I have to say about the set. It only costs me 1,000php ($22.25). It is safe for me to say that I am very satisfied with my purchase. I will definitely recommend the whole set for pro and beginners. I chose not to buy the ones that are more expensive because I am not a professional makeup artist. I am a lover of makeup who loves brushes. I will update this post as soon as I have something relevant to share with you. I hope this review will help you.

Postcards from Moalboal

It was a hot and sunny day when we set out to check the beach. It wasn't comfortable going out but the weather made it possible for us to take decent photos. As always, I favored taking shots of different scenes.

We stop by to one of the most popular French cafe. I was in awe to witness various foreign cafe and restaurants all over the place. Particularly the French and Korean ones. They are literally all over the place!

We stop by at this certain French cafe and we were very glad that it didn't disappoint us. Their employees were very nice and accommodating. They immediately said yes when my best friend asked them to take a photo of us. haha

Moalboal has always been on my travel bucket list. I've been very jealous seeing photographs of the crystal clear water and fine white sand. Last month, my best friend and I got the chance to visit the place. We were able to stay at the place with the help of a very welcoming friend (Sa-e). We haven't seen her for a very long time but it's a wonder how she let us stay at their place.

As expected, Moalboal is very beautiful. It is surprising how it continues to be progressive with the number of restaurants and stores that sprung all over the place, both local and foreign. Foreigners continue to explore the place so it's no excuse for us Cebuanos not to experience the glory of the place by ourselves. Our trip was literally short but it is very much worth it. Not to mention the fact that I spent it with the best people.

We could have stayed longer but I have to attend a Calligraphy workshop on the next day, so I cannot stay as much as I want to. I thank my best friend for keeping up with me and my hectic schedule. I hope we can visit the place again with longer time.
