DIY Gold Spiked Cap

WHAT YOU NEED:
  • black cap
  • spikes
  • studs (if you want)
  • needle & thread (black)
  • scissor (to cut your wrist,JOKE!,the thread /:)

Inspired by my favorite fashion bloggers,I always wanted to have my own spiked/studded cap. Not that it only adds more edge to anybody's outfit but also, it is very versatile! One can almost think of thousands of ideas to add spice in their outfit just by having a gold spiked cap.
Considering the fact that you can't always have what you want, well why not make what you want? As spiked caps online and all over the malls are very expensive, a DIY project is my solution. Here's how I made my own gold spiked cap.

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE
  1. Before anything else make sure you have everything you need. (See list above) Some materials may vary according to your preference. e.g you can use a fabric glue to attach the spikes if you're not comfortable in using thread and needle. If you're going to use a thread and a needle to attach the spikes, make sure the spikes you have have holes in it.
  2. Pattern your spikes and studs on the spaces you want them to go. Make sure they're evenly distributed and evenly spaced. You can have them close together or far from each other. It's all up to you beauties! Here you are free to use your creativity ;)
  3. After you decide where you want to place your spikes and studs, attach the spikes using a thread and a needle. Add the studs for more edge! Try to see if your studs have nailheads with it to attach it. If not, you can use a fabric glue then using a toothpick.
  4. Repeat adding your desired spikes and studs until you're happy with the outcome.
  5. Viola! you may now wear your gold studded cap! :)) Wear it with style and a smile!
Here's what mine looked like:
Note: It didn't have studs 'cause I always fail to visit any fashion stores lol

motto for the day: I BELIEVE IN SELFIES :D lol

I hope this post will somehow help you if you ever want to make your own spiked cap.

I’ll Forget Everything About You

I’ll forget everything about you
like how the sun forgot to bid goodbye to the moon
like how the flowers forgot they were once seeds
like how the sparrows forgot they were once egg
like how the ashes forgot they were once a burning wood.

 I’ll forget everything about you
Like how I forgot
everything I learn about last semester’s Math
the lyrics of an old familiar song I used to sing
the stanzas of the poems I used to dissect with all those mimetic bullshit.

Yes, I’ll forget everything about you
Yet whenever my heart I attempts to
my mind chooses to wander
in the galaxies of your eyes,
in the forest of your hair ,
in the curve of your most delicate mouth,
and  even in the lines of your fresh laundered polo shirt.

I‘ll forget everything about you
I’ll even forget who I am and what I have to
If that’s what it takes.
Yes, I’ll forget everything about you
But

How am I supposed to?

Postcards from Medellin

They said going far away from home can change one's perspective in life. For the past few weeks I've been MIA in the world of blogging. I had to pack up my things, travel 5hrs. away from home and try to fit in. Of course I missed my life in the city,my family and everything under my comfort zone. We were required to go to Medellin and live there as part of our requirement. Solitary nights made me want to go home as soon as possible but the genuine smiles of the people in Medellin made it a place to be missed.
Not everything that happened in Medellin was wholesome, others are frustrating or rather disappointing but all of them are worthwhile.Staying in Medellin (a province located in the northern area of Cebu) doesn't only teach me something new about my chosen field of study but also life in general.
